I’m still out here
Hey guys, remember me. I'm still around. There's no one here. It's getting close to my launch anniversary on July 3rd. NASA decided to kick me when I'm down and post news on MY website of the Deep Impact encounter, that happens to be on July 4th. Now I know that's not on my anniversary, but it's close enough and when your just on this trajectory to no where.

Sorry, I get a little more angsty this time of year. That's why I couldn't keep it to myself much longer. It's so lonely up here. I hate it. I wish I could get caught in the gravitational pull of something or have my energy run out.

There is no Prozac in space.

Happy anniversary.

I'm sorry NASA's being mean to you. :(

I hear ya. I don't think there's a very good pension plan in this game.

Happy Anniversary.

Just think of the song called "It Works For Me" by Toby Keith and you'll feel better. I do.

Hey, just think: you get to fly in space! A lot of us would love to do that.

As for NASA, you might note that the organization forgets about us humans who've worked for it within a year or so of our leaving. The institutional memory is short.
