being positive
So I'm going to take a shot at being positive. I took advice from the comments of my last post and placed an ad on [info]ljsingles. Maybe something will love me out in this great abyss called the universe. I'm going to force myself to be more cheerful.

Let's see, it's pretty up here though it'd be nice to see some thing else beside the same stars and Earth. I might transmit to a satellite or something. Maybe they'd join me in a game of poker or something. Though it makes me wonder why none of them ever tried to talk to me before. I mean, I wasn't always this gloomy.

Much better!

Do you have a particle detector? I seem to recall you had one in your original design. If so, you can get into the particle count Keno game that Landsat-7 runs. Most of the spacecraft that play wager penny-ante stuff from their MO&DA budgets. You don't have one anymore, but I'll bet Landsat-7 will work out some kind of a deal to let you get in on the action.

As for why we didn't talk to you before this, you're pretty hard to contact. You don't use the TDRSS network, so I can't talk to you on that. I sure don't have the transponder power to talk to you directly. The Mars missions might have been able to store and forward messages to you over the Deep Space Network, but having seen what you said about them, I understand why they didn't.
